Joshua works with patents, trademarks and copyrights at Boudwin Intellectual Property Law.

Joshua enjoys working with clients on medical devices and culinary devices. Recently, Joshua has helped clients obtain protection for inventions including an arteriotomy assistance device, a cervical tissue sample tool and a food separation utensil. He has also helped several small to mid-sized business owners establish trademark registration, including restaurants, construction companies and various online retailers.

Before working at Boudwin Intellectual Property Law, Joshua worked in technology transfer at two major research universities, where he was responsible for assisting faculty and student inventors in the valuation and patentability of their inventions. He worked with inventors in the biomedical engineering, biochemical and life sciences departments. A second-generation attorney, Joshua attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he focused on intellectual property and technology law. He was granted the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of IP Law and the Pittsburgh IP Law Association Student Leadership Award. Before law school, he attended Grove City College, where he studied molecular biology with a minor in sociology and was a member of the track and field team.

Originally from central Pennsylvania, Joshua now lives in Upper Chichester and enjoys cooking, painting, video editing and is an avid follower of the Baltimore Ravens. He is an active member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Benjamin Franklin Inns of Court.
